Ketamine Infusion Therapy

Ketamine is often the answer when all other treatments and medicines have failed to resolve major depression symptoms. Ketamine can be used to treat Severe Depression, suicidal thoughts, PTSD (posttraumatic stress disorder), and other mood disorders that have become severe.

Since early 2000 Ketamine has been researched and used as a treatment for depression. The benefits of Ketamine are that it can work faster, better and safer than conventional treatments for depression. Ketamine differs from the common medications that are typically prescribed for depression because these drugs increase the levels of serotonin and or dopamine in the brain. Ketamine works by blocking certain receptors in the brain and triggering specific chemical productions that prompt the brain to form new neurological pathways and connections. This in turn gives the opportunity develop and form positive pathways leading to positive thoughts.
